Job summary

Kikkoman Foods Inc HQ and Walworth Plant in Walworth, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician on the First Shift. You will troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment, operate boilers and perform preventive maintenance on various systems.

You will prepare parts and tools, coordinate with departments, follow HACCP/GMP/SQF and ISO requirements, and maintain clean, safe facilities. The role includes paperwork, compliance, and supporting maintenance management on ongoing projects and calls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment.
• Operate boilers.
• Preventive maintenance (PM) work on any kind of equipment.
• Preparation of necessary parts, tools, material for repair, PM, projects and contractor support.
• Consultation and adjustment with department involved when required, for repair, PM, projects and contractor support
• All the periodical checking work as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Proper operation of utility equipment as well as necessary checking work, filling up necessary chemicals, related paperwork, and etc.
• Proper operation of detection/alarm devices/systems as well as necessary checking work and paper work including communication with related authorities.
• Follow requirements relating to HACCP/GMP /SQF, Safety or ISO standards including all necessary paperwork as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Cleaning and maintaining neat and tidy where maintenance department is in charge in our premises
• Comply with all departmental & company-wide food safety policies and procedures.
• “Call in” duties as requested by Maintenance Management
• Any other tasks requested by Maintenance Management.
