Job summary

Kikkoman Foods Inc. HQ and Walworth Plant in Walworth, Wisconsin, is seeking a maintenance technician for the third shift to troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment and to operate boilers.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, preparing parts and tools, coordinating with departments, ensuring HACCP/GMP/SQF and ISO compliance, keeping areas tidy, and completing required paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment.
• Operate boilers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Prepare parts, tools and materials for repair, PM, projects and contractor support.
• Coordinate with departments for repair, PM, projects and contractor support.
• Carry out periodical checks as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Operate utility equipment and manage related paperwork and chemical handling.
• Check detection/alarm devices and related paperwork; communicate with authorities as needed.
• Follow HACCP/GMP/SQF, Safety and ISO standards and complete required paperwork.
• Keep maintenance areas neat and comply with food safety policies.
• "Call in" duties as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Perform any other tasks requested by Maintenance Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot, repair and rebuild equipment.
• Operate boilers.
• Preventive maintenance (PM) work on any kind of equipment.
• Preparation of necessary parts, tools, material for repair, PM, projects and contractor support.
• Consultation and adjustment with department involved when required, for repair, PM, projects and contractor support
• All the periodical checking work as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Proper operation of utility equipment as well as necessary checking work, filling up necessary chemicals, related paperwork, and etc.
• Proper operation of detection/alarm devices/systems as well as necessary checking work and paper work including communication with related authorities.
• Follow requirements relating to HACCP/GMP /SQF, Safety or ISO standards including all necessary paperwork as requested by Maintenance Management.
• Cleaning and maintaining neat and tidy where maintenance department is in charge in our premises
• Comply with all departmental & company-wide food safety policies and procedures.
• “Call in” duties as requested by Maintenance Management
• Any other tasks requested by Maintenance Management.
