PERMIAN BASIN MATERIALS LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform installation, maintenance and repair of aggregate crushing plants and ready-mix concrete batch plants. The role focuses on maximizing plant availability through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

The position requires reading technical manuals, following safety regulations, and maintaining accurate service records. Prior apprentice or journeyman credentials are preferred, with opportunities for growth within the

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Training from an accredited technical school preferred.
Completion of an approved apprentice program or journeyman certification preferred.
Apprentice – less than 2 years of experience; preventative maintenance and repairs.
Mechanic I – 2 years of experience with 1–3 relevant certifications.
Mechanic II – 2–5 years with 4+ relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance and repair of aggregate crushing plants or ready-mix concrete batch plants.
Maximize plant availability with preventative maintenance programs.
Diagnose problems and repair stationary and mobile production machinery.
Input daily repair information in maintenance database and create work orders.
Inspect equipment and test performance after repair to ensure compliance with specifications.
Follow safety policies and procedures during all tasks.
