Job summary

PB Materials in Odessa, Texas is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform installation, maintenance and repair of aggregate and ready-mix equipment. You will maximize plant availability through proactive maintenance and support increasing responsibilities as you grow with job grades.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, repairing machinery, conducting preventative maintenance and documenting all service activities while complying with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Training from an accredited technical school preferred.
• Completion of an approved apprentice program and certification or registration as a skilled trades journeyman preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform mechanical repair and maintenance on stationary and mobile production machinery (aggregate plants, batch plants, crushers).
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication.
• Input daily repair information and create work orders; maintain service records.
