Job summary

SunOpta Midlothian, TX is seeking an Operations Material Handler I to deliver raw materials, palletize, document and store finished goods. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubber, palletizing robot and shrink wrap machines, following GMP/PPE standards and safety protocols.

This role requires maintaining FIFO inventory, reporting delays, and supporting maintenance with basic equipment troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years forklift driving experience.
• Able to operate forklift safely and inspect equipment.
• Familiar with GMP and HACCP basics.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and palletizing equipment, ensuring safe handling of materials.
• Record and document material movements and inventory in the system.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow GMP and PPE requirements.
• Provide shift handoffs and communicate issues to production team.
