Job summary

Plastic Recycling Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in Indianapolis to move raw materials, recycled plastics, and finished products safely and efficiently. You will support production by ensuring timely material delivery and maintaining accurate inventory records.

The role requires forklift operation, attention to detail, strong organization, and good communication with production and logistics teams to maintain smooth workflow in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of material handling or warehouse operations experience.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other handling equipment; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials and finished goods within the plant using forklifts or other equipment.
• Load and unload trucks for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Stage materials for production according to schedules provided by the Material Movement Manager.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Follow all safety protocols for material handling and equipment operation.
• Assist with general warehouse organization and housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow.
