Job summary

Allied Personnel Services seeks a Plant Controller to lead financial operations at the manufacturing plant. You will manage month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement reviews while steering budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

You will own product standard costs, review bills of material for new products, oversee plant cash activity, AP/AR, payroll, and accounting, and provide financial oversight for capital projects in partnership with plant leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business required.
• 7+ years experience as a Plant Controller or similar role.
• Knowledge of GAAP, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with manufacturing standard costing, inventory, and ERP systems.
• Experience analyzing production activity, inventory reserves, and capital projects.
• Strong MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close including journal entries.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Financial statement review.
• Variance analysis.
• Own/monitor manufacturing results including material, labor, overhead, inventory, and production variances.
• Maintain product standard costs.
• Review bills of material and costing for new products.
• Develop budgets and forecasts.
• Oversee plant level cash activity, AP/AR, payroll, and accounting.
• Provide financial oversight for capital projects.
• Participate in production meetings and advise plant leadership.
