Ilocatum in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all production operations for reinforcement mesh and bars. You will manage daily activities, ensure quality, safety, and on-time production while driving efficiency and cost effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has engineering or manufacturing leadership experience, strong knowledge of production processes and quality/safety systems, and the ability to lead a team through continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality management systems, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with production management software and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of reinforcement mesh and bars, ensuring adherence to quality standards and schedules.
• Lead, train, and motivate the plant team including supervisors and staff; set goals and performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations; conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and manage the plant's operational budget; monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning and evaluate new technologies to enhance production capabilities.
