Job summary

PEPL seeks a Plant Manager for its Lavonia, GA facility to lead overall operations, safety, quality, and performance. The role drives daily production goals, staff development, and cross-functional coordination to deliver on customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in high-volume textile manufacturing, continuous improvement, and capital project execution, with a track record of safety leadership and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading supervisors, front-line leaders, and large hourly manufacturing teams.
• Strong experience in equipment-intensive, high-volume manufacturing operations.
• Proven success improving safety, quality, productivity, delivery, cost, and workforce performance.
• Demonstrated experience leading process improvement, technology adoption, automation, or manufacturing modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer service objectives.
• Establish and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production goals based on demand, staffing, equipment, inventory, and priorities.
• Ensure supervisors understand requirements, communicate expectations, and are accountable for results.
• Monitor performance against plan and take corrective action when off target.
• Lead routine operating reviews to communicate results, identify barriers, assign actions, and set priorities.
• Coordinate across departments to minimize downtime and remove operational barriers.
