Job summary

Accelera Staffing in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee all manufacturing activities, meet production targets, and drive financial performance.

You will coach staff, implement Lean and continuous improvement, manage budgets, and lead staffing and capital projects with cross-functional teams to optimize quality, scheduling, and inventory.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• At least five years of experience leading operations within the steel manufacturing sector, specifically involving plasma machining, welding, and press work.
• A track record of successfully deploying Lean methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks, such as 5S, Six Sigma, and transactional Lean.
• Advanced technical and analytical capabilities, including the use of Microsoft Office tools to interpret data trends and drive data-backed business decisions.
• Expertise in engineering and maintenance operations, paired with the ability to build collaborative teams and solve complex problems through effective leadership.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $115,000 annually.
