Job summary

Hood Container Corporation is seeking a Plant Manager for our Houston, TX plant. You will provide dynamic leadership across corrugated and converting operations to meet safety, quality, production, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include directing departments, optimizing uptime, and developing employees while ensuring compliance and profitability. A strong background in manufacturing leadership and Lean/OSHA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus college and/or technical courses.
• Five years of proven managerial experience.
• Ten years of corrugated manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily plant operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity and cost control.
• Lead supervisors and production managers to meet production schedules and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize labor, material use, and equipment uptime.
