Job summary

LB Foster Company is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all plant operations including safety, quality, and production. The role focuses on improving productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across manufacturing processes.

The candidate will lead continuous improvement, manage budgets, and develop staff through coaching and training, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 6 years of leadership experience with at least 3 years in manufacturing or related environment.
• 2 years pipe and/or coating industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall plant operations including safety, quality, and production.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and state/federal regulations.
• Manage facility budgets, expenses, and systems to meet AOP targets.
• Lead continuous improvement in safety, environment, quality, and equipment upgrades.
• Develop procedures and systems to meet customer needs and delivery timelines.
• Oversee hourly employee relations including hiring, training and scheduling.
