Job summary

Alpha Executive Search is seeking a Plant Manager with pork slaughter experience to lead a high-performance plant. You will oversee operations, safety, quality, and cost control while guiding hourly teams and cross-functional support functions including Sanitation, Shipping, Maintenance, and Engineering.

You must have pork slaughter experience, 10+ years of plant leadership, and a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or related field.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, CCPs, SSOPs).
• Experience with union environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plant operations with focus on safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
• Drive continuous improvement in labor, yields, material utilization, waste, and costs.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, USDA, and company food safety requirements.
• Lead safety initiatives, including training and safety programs.
