Job summary

Nelson Global Products Inc. in Indianapolis seeks a Plant Manager to own the facility’s P&L, direct safety, quality, planning, manufacturing and delivery, and drive profitability and growth.

You will lead the plant operations team, implement Nelson Excellence System and Lean practices, manage capital and staffing, and partner with sales to align capacity with demand, while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of plant management or operations management experience.
• Considerable knowledge of all Plant functions.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own full P&L for the facility and manage operations.
• Lead plant operations team and NES/Lean initiatives.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Collaborate with sales/commercial to align capacity with demand.
• Lead continuous improvement and Six Sigma efforts.
• Ensure certifications such as ISO/IATF are maintained.
