Job summary

Kane Partners LLC in the Greater Philadelphia area is recruiting experienced Plant Managers to run manufacturing operations from the floor up, develop people, improve flow, and deliver measurable results.

These roles span established and growing facilities, with hands-on leadership, KPI discipline, Lean/Six Sigma, and accountability across production, maintenance, quality, and material flow. Compensation ranges based on opportunity and experience with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience establishing KPIs, operating rhythms, and accountability.
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to solve problems in real time.
• Experience with P&L, budgeting, cost control, or plant financial performance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations across production, maintenance, quality, materials, shipping, and related functions.
• Manage and develop supervisors, production leaders, and hourly manufacturing teams.
• Improve throughput, labor efficiency, equipment utilization, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve plant flow.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and standardized operating processes.
• Establish clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability throughout the operation.
• Partner with maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, capacity, material flow, and inventory requirements.
• Maintain strong safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Control operating costs, scrap, labor utilization, and other key plant metrics.
• Lead from the floor with a visible, hands-on management style.

Compensation: Approximately $120,000–$180,000+ base salary depending on the opportunity and experience, with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.
