Job summary

AAF International in the United States seeks a Plant Manager to lead a multi‑functional team, ensuring production goals, safety and environmental compliance, and a transition to a world‑class Lean Manufacturing environment.

You will oversee production, quality, maintenance and engineering, drive cost reductions and continuous improvement, mentor staff, and partner with Sales to align voice of the customer with manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree required, MBA a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
• 7–10 years of plant/general management experience.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, aerospace, automotive safety) preferred.
• Strong financial literacy: budgets and P&L.
• Experience leading diverse functions (ops, engineering, maintenance, quality, HR, EHS).

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day plant operations to meet safety and production goals.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Implement and refine EHS practices to ensure safety and compliance.
• Manage capital, operating expenditures, and manpower.
• Coordinate with Sales to reflect customer voice in manufacturing.
• Travel as required and mentor staff.
