Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead all plant operations in our California facility. You will direct a team of managers and supervisors to meet safety, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery goals while driving lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of manufacturing operations leadership, a BS in Business Management, and a proven ability to coach others, manage budgets, and implement CI tools.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a plant leadership role; 5-7 years in manufacturing operations management.
• BS Degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership to drive change, improvement, and meet productivity expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, change-management, and PC skills.
• Must be a dynamic leader who actively drives positive change and CI initiatives.
• Strong Lean manufacturing experience with CI tools and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant operations through managers to meet safety, KPI, and customer service goals.
• Champion safety and OSHA compliance; promote proper safety culture.
• Improve production efficiency, output, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor operations and drive corrective actions to meet objectives and KPIs.
• Develop and coach managers and supervisors; hire, train, review performance, and plan succession.
• Minimize scrap and returns; ensure quality indicators are tracked and up to date.
• Develop spreadsheet tools for QC and monitoring of plant processes.
• Apply Lean methods to drive continuous improvement and sustain gains.
