Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Plant Manager to direct the daily operations of its Texas manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality output. The role requires coordinating across departments, maintaining GMP and SQF standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in plant or maintenance management, knowledge of plastics processes, and strong communication skills to drive results with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in plant/production/maintenance leadership in large to small facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the manufacturing facility to meet safety, cost, efficiency, and quality goals.
• Coordinate with HR, accounting, and purchasing to align objectives and actions.
• Ensure GMP, SPC and SQF compliance and lead audit processes.
• Maintain OSHA, EPA and other regulatory standards.
• Develop systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity, and set targets.
• Foster an open-door culture and active employee engagement.
• Lead Continuous Improvement projects to enhance safety and quality.
• Monitor and report production and operating metrics.
• Develop and approve day-to-day policies and procedures.
