Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Plant Manager for Bloomington, TX to lead safe, compliant, and efficient operations in a cryogenic processing environment. The role requires 8+ years in continuous manufacturing with at least 3 years in supervision, plus strong knowledge of cryogenic cycles, rotating equipment, and PSM.

You will drive cost control, asset reliability, and team development while coordinating with pipeline logistics to ensure uninterrupted supply with strict purity standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in continuous process manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years in direct supervisory or plant leadership roles.
• Deep understanding of cryogenic process cycles and rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Enforce OSHA, EPA, and EHS standards; lead PSM protocols and RCFA investigations.
• Oversee continuous operation of cryogenic distillation columns and heavy turbomachinery; optimize energy use.
• Manage site OPEX and CAPEX budgets; track KPIs and drive energy management initiatives.
• Coach and direct shift operators, maintenance technicians, and process engineers; drive training and talent development.
• Coordinate with pipeline systems and bulk gas logistics to meet supply agreements and product purity requirements.
