ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 2. Performs minor maintenance work in the following areas:
  (a) Electrical
  (b) Plumbing
  (c) Carpentry
  (d) Painting
  (e) Mechanical
• 3. Checks fire extinguishers
• 4. Cleans out gutters, roof drains and remove trash from roofs
• 5. Assists maintenance crews with any emergency
• 6. Sprays for bugs and other pests 7. Oversees the general operation of the chiller system
• 8. Reports all emergency and major repairs
• 9. Operates power tools, performs heavy lifting, climbing, works from ladder
• 10. Assists in custodial duties when needed
• 11. Maintains grounds
• 12. Performs other related duties as assigned

Duty Days: 240

Salary Range: According to Madison County Schools Salary Schedule. Actual salary will be determined by rank and experience. Current employees with questions regarding step placement on the salary schedule should contact the Personnel Department.
