Job description

The company is a privately held, ISO13485 certified contract manufacturer of complex injection molded components and assemblies serving the world’s largest medical device OEMs as a tier 1 and tier 2 supplier. With an in-house tool shop and advanced metrology services, they provide solutions to the industry’s toughest challenges.

They are seeking a top-grade Plant Manager for their Sarasota, FL facility. The ideal candidate will:

1. Be able to work one or more days on weekends and overtime during the work week if required.
2. Possess a B.S. Degree in a business or technical field, or have equivalent manufacturing experience.
3. Have five (5+) years of experience in a operational plant leadership role in a plastic injection molding operation.
4. Have a proven track record of progressive manufacturing responsibilities.
5. Be a hands-on Plant Manager who leads from the production floor and can assist the team in troubleshooting processing and maintenance issues.
6. Understand processing, tooling, scheduling, logistics, etc.
7. Be self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset.
