Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in steel product manufacturing.
• Hands-on leadership with shop floor experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and strong problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Oversight: Lead daily production activities with working knowledge of steel product manufacturing equipment.
• Production & Efficiency: Prepare production schedules and daily operating reports to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Equipment Maintenance: Direct maintenance personnel to perform preventative maintenance and resolve complex machinery failures.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with safety standards and internal protocols.
• Team Leadership: Train, coach, and evaluate production staff to foster accountability and teamwork.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to improve throughput, quality, and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive and practical knowledge of pipe/tube mills, roll-formers, slitting equipment and related machinery, with a proven track record of optimizing yields, driving continuous improvement, and managing shop employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on Oversight: Lead daily production activities with a thorough working knowledge of steel product manufacturing equipment.
• Production & Efficiency: Prepare production schedules and daily operating reports to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Equipment Maintenance: Direct maintenance personnel to perform preventative maintenance and resolve complex machinery failures.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with safety standards and internal operational protocols.
• Team Leadership: Train, coach, and evaluate production staff to foster a performance-based culture centered on accountability and teamwork.
