Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in steel product manufacturing.
• Hands-on knowledge of pipe and tube mills, slitting machinery, and roll-forming equipment.
• Tooling changeovers and equipment maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing/industrial training preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; strong problem-solving, strategic planning, and employee relations.
• Hands-on leader who spends time on the shop floor to drive results.

Schaeffer is looking for a hands-on, results-driven Plant Manager to oversee its manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive and practical knowledge of pipe/tube mills, roll-formers, slitting equipment and related machinery, with a proven track record of optimizing yields, driving continuous improvement, and managing shop employees.

Key Responsibilities
