Job Title: Plant Manager II at Pilgrim's

Summary: Directs and coordinates overall operations for the poultry processing plant, ensuring objectives are achieved efficiently and in compliance with quality standards and regulations. Delegates authority to key supervisors across various operational areas including production, maintenance, and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee production, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality and performance standards.
2. Maintain plant property and equipment to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
3. Prepare and submit operational reports, recommending improvements to management.
4. Ensure effective customer service through timely delivery of quality products.
5. Recruit, train, develop, and motivate manufacturing staff.
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant regulations.
7. Set and monitor production and processing goals as needed.

Qualifications:

• Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in a poultry processing plant.
• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
