Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is seeking a Plant Manager for the Canton, OH site to lead a team responsible for producing and repackaging compressed and liquid gases into cylinders. You will ensure safety, maintain equipment, and align daily tasks with customer needs and stock levels.

Key responsibilities include coordinating production schedules, improving methods, and mentoring leaders, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and 5+ years in industry with 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior experience with compressed/packaged gases is a plus.
• Prior experience using SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower the team producing and repackaging compressed and liquid gases into cylinders.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with all regulations and Airgas policies.
• Plan production schedules and estimate team-hour requirements.
• Coordinate with outside sales to ensure order accuracy and timely deliveries.
• Onboard new team members and mentor operational leaders for growth.
