Country Pure Foods in DeLand, FL is seeking a Plant Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while developing operating plans and schedules.

Collaborating across Maintenance, Planning, Procurement, Sales and Quality, you will manage budgets, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with food safety standards and HACCP programs to deliver consistent results for customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing, including plant leadership.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, sanitation, HACCP, GMPs and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage production teams and multiple plant functions.
• Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, reduce costs and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations to achieve safety, quality, production, service, and financial goals.
• Develop and execute plant operating plans, production schedules, and performance objectives.
• Maintain a strong food safety and quality culture, ensuring compliance with specifications and HACCP programs.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and support CAPEX projects.
• Monitor KPIs including safety, quality, production output, labor efficiency, waste, and on-time delivery.
• Partner with Planning, Procurement, Sales, Quality, and other departments to meet production and customer requirements.
• Develop employee capabilities, promote engagement and accountability, and ensure training.
• Manage staffing levels, labor requirements, overtime, and workforce planning.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure accurate production reporting, inventory control, SOP compliance, and a safe facility.
• Oversee department budgets and capital expenditure projects.
• Respond to operational emergencies as needed.
