PLANT MANAGER

Matheson specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. The company is also the nation's largest distributor of dry ice blasting equipment. Matheson maintains a reliable network of 40 dry ice distribution facilities strategically located throughout its service area. This integrated distribution network ensures that Matheson can quickly respond to customer needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing other duties as assigned
• Ensuring compliance with all policies and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear)
• Strong commitment to safety
• 8+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing management and leadership
• Military experience, including Navy Nuclear Program, is a plus
• Ability to understand and follow established product quality procedures and guidelines to ensure customers receive expected quality and purity of products
• Ability to manage production schedules
• Effective communication skills and ability to boost morale
• Mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS

Position involves stationary work frequently, with movement/traversing frequently. Physical activities include rare lifting and carrying, occasional ascending/descending, balancing, self-stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, and constant communication and hearing. Repetitive motions, coordination, comprehension, organization, reasoning and decision-making, communication, and resilience are frequently required. The role does not require travel.
