Job summary

Martin Marietta Materials in Greendale, Indiana seeks a site operations leader to drive safety, quality, and efficiency at the bulk salt facility. You will set procedures, manage capital projects, and coordinate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to meet demand and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 5–8 years in a high-volume chemical/industrial setting, strong supervision, and Lean project experience. Travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• Minimum five to eight years' experience in a high-volume chemical manufacturing or similar facility.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing systems/projects.
• Documented experience in complex industrial/mechanical project management.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to meet and maintain goals/objectives for the site including Safety, Quality, Volume, Cleanliness and Financial targets.
• Responsible for safety and product quality at Greendale bulk salt production facility.
• Establish Standard Process and Operating Procedures for training and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service to prioritize customer needs.
• Develop production and response schedules to meet customer needs and emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with Regulatory Agency requirements and coordinate with Quality, Maintenance and Engineering.
• Plan and execute capital and maintenance projects; supervise contractors and start-up operations.
