Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc in Hendersonville, NC seeks a results-driven Plant Manager to lead all aspects of operations for our hot-fill and aseptic beverage facility. You will ensure safety, food safety, quality, production performance and asset reliability while delivering cost-effective results.

This senior role provides strategic direction across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Continuous Improvement, develops plant leaders, and partners with QA to maintain audit readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Food Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, Sanitation, Warehouse, CI).
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP or preventive controls, sanitation programs, FDA regulations, and high-hygiene manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to manage plant operating budgets, labor utilization, production performance, cost reduction initiatives, and capital projects.
• Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to coach leaders and communicate across all levels.
• Problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making and corrective action systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plant operations to achieve safety, food safety, quality, service, productivity, reliability and financial objectives.
• Build and sustain a culture of safety, food safety, quality ownership, accountability, and operational discipline.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, preventive controls, and customer standards.
• Maintain control of hot-fill and aseptic processes, including thermal processing, CIP/SIP, sanitation, environmental monitoring, and package integrity.
• Partner with Quality and Food Safety leaders to maintain audit readiness and address deviations.
• Drive CI initiatives focused on OEE, throughput, yield, schedule attainment, labor productivity, and reliability.
• Lead Maintenance and Engineering to improve uptime and asset reliability; support capital projects and long-term planning.
• Develop and execute the plant operating budget; deliver sustainable cost and productivity improvements.
• Develop plant leaders through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Sustain Lean, TPM, Six Sigma and other CI methodologies; lead site during customer visits and audits.
