Job description

JDP is seeking a second shift (3pm-12am) Plant Manager in Sioux City, IA area! The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the plant consistent with company policies and procedures. The Plant Manager will have direct supervision of all operations management and hourly employees when department heads are not available.

Responsibilities:

1. Initiate and maintain a safe work space in accordance with all policies
2. Responsible for communicating feedback updates pertaining to shift activities
3. Implement and attain goals to reduce injury
4. Responsible for team members for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all shift operations
5. Ensure employee safety training
6. Ensure all staff and employees know CCP’s, HACCP and SSOP document/plans
7. Serve as a contact person for vendors and suppliers
8. Initiate and modify methods of ensuring production goals are met
9. Develop and manage a system that tracks labor, product and packaging costs
10. Interview, hire, and train employees to including performance reviews

Requirements:
