Job summary

Auris Noble LLC in Warren, OH seeks a senior-level Lead – facilities and operations to plan and execute expansion, upgrades, and start-up of new processing lines. This on-site role combines project leadership with plant management and readiness activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating utilities, equipment installation, vendor management, and ensuring safe, compliant operations during ramp-up. Strong engineering background and 8+ years in industrial construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site evaluation, facility renovation and expansion, space planning, process-area layouts, traffic flow, warehousing, material movement, and occupancy-readiness activities.
• Coordinate requirements for electrical power, water, drainage, ventilation, HVAC, compressed air, process gases, containment, fire protection, security, wastewater, fume control, and other utilities.
• Develop scopes of work, bid packages, cost estimates, schedules, phasing plans, contractor plans, and turnover criteria to keep plant operating effectively and efficiently.
• Coordinate engineers, equipment vendors, contractors, inspectors, landlords, utilities, internal maintenance, ESH, IT, security, production, and quality personnel.
• Review drawings, specifications, equipment placement, access, maintainability, materials compatibility, code requirements, and interfaces with process systems.
• Oversee construction and installation activities with emphasis on safety, quality, cost, schedule, operational continuity, and protection of existing operations.
• Plan shutdowns, tie-ins, relocations, equipment moves, receiving, staging, storage, and logistics needed to support commissioning and production ramp-up.
• Drive project reviews, punch lists, system turnover, occupancy release, as-built records, warranties, spare-parts information, and maintenance documentation.
• Help establish facility operating routines for utilities, contractor control, inspections, housekeeping, emergency response, and infrastructure reliability.
• Provide progress, forecast, risk, approval, invoice, and change information for program and financial reporting.
• Active presence on plant floor to proactively identify and resolve facility and logistics issues affecting process teams and plant performance.

Position Overview

Lead the planning and execution of facility, utility, infrastructure, logistics, and construction work needed to make expanded chemical and materials-processing operations safe, compliant, operable, and ready for production. This position combines project/construction leadership with elements of plant management and operational readiness.

This position will support one or more company growth programs involving facility expansion, process scale-up, equipment installation and commissioning, recovery and separation of critical materials from complex feedstocks, and transition of new or improved processes into sustained production. Assignments may change by project phase and may include requirements development, vendor coordination, pilot trials, qualification, documentation, training, production support, and continuous improvement.

Education, Training and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, facilities management, architecture, industrial technology, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant industrial construction, facility expansion, plant engineering, or capital-project experience.
• Experience delivering work inside an operating manufacturing or chemical facility.
• Working knowledge of industrial utilities, building systems, contractor management, permitting, safety, commissioning, and operational turnover.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendors, priorities, budgets, schedules, and field issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in chemical processing, metal refining, advanced materials, high-hazard manufacturing, or corrosive-service facilities.
• OSHA 30, construction management, project management, or related certification.
• Experience with process layouts, piping, ventilation, secondary containment, environmental controls, secure facilities, or hazardous-material logistics.
• Experience supervising facility operations, maintenance, or logistics functions after construction turnover.

Work Environment and Other Requirements

• This is an on-site position in Warren, OH.
• Work will require movement between offices, laboratories, production areas, warehouses, construction areas, and vendor sites.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with chemical, industrial, and facility safety rules.
• Occasional travel, schedule flexibility, or work during commissioning and plant shutdown activities may be required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to project and contractual requirements.
