Job summary

Brentwood Industries, Inc. is seeking a Plant Manager in Reading, PA to lead the site with a focus on operational performance, efficiency, and strategic execution.

You will head the manufacturing teams and drive a scalable, compliant environment aligned with industry quality systems. The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 15+ years of manufacturing experience with 5+ years in management, and plastics manufacturing experience in medical or transportation sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related experience.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing systems with at least 5 years in a management role.
• At least 5 years of plastics manufacturing experience in medical or transportation industries.
• Basic experience with manufacturing analysis tools (ERP/MRP).
• Experience with industry-recognized quality systems (cGMP, ISO9001, ISO14001, TS16949, etc.).

• Foster a customer-centric manufacturing organization.

The Plant Manager holds a critical leadership role in driving operational performance, efficiency, and strategic execution. As the head of the site, the role is focused on team management and systems development to enable a highly engaged, controlled and scalable manufacturing environment in compliance with industry-recognized quality systems. Employees may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, or related experience.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in manufacturing systems, with a minimum of 5 years in a management position.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in plastics manufacturing in either the medical or transportation industry.
• Basic experience with manufacturing analysis tools (ERP/MRP).
• Experience with industry-recognized quality systems (cGMP, ISO9001, ISO14001, TS16949, etc.)

• Strong mathematical skills along with excellent reasoning ability; be able to handle a variety of concrete variables.
• Strong computational background to evaluate raw manufacturing data to interpret and chart performance.
• Strong computational background to drive costing and profitability recommendations and decisions.
• Basic knowledge of business economics and trends of various industries and vertical markets.
• True LEAN Manufacturing experience involving problem solving.
