Job summary

Alpha Executive Search is seeking a seasoned operations leader for a California-based production facility. The role requires relocation and involves managing both the facility and a team, analyzing the manufacturing process, and ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a track record of driving cost and quality improvements, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing USDA-compliant SSOP and HACCP programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in management within the food processing industry, poultry preferred.
• Demonstrated financial understanding including budgeting, staffing, and cost analysis.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and drive.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote, Enable, Facilitate and Drive Team Member Safety.
• Develop short-term and long-term goals for production and monitor results of cost and quality systems to ensure profit margins.
• Promote, Enable, Facilitate and Drive Food Safety.
• Apply leadership to develop personnel and systems that will place the manufacturing operation in an industry-leading position in terms of cost and quality.
• Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.
• Provide direction to ensure that comprehensive team member safety programs are aligned with the Company’s goals and values.
• Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy to provide a harassment-free work environment.
• Assist in product development, quality assurance, engineering systems, and equipment to provide future profitability and growth as required by the Manufacturing Division.
• Develop new products and processes in conjunction with Marketing and USDA compliance with SSOP and HACCP programs.

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN CALIFORNIA AND WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION

The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.
