How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Plant Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in producing and repackaging of compressed and liquid gases cylinders, correcting unsafe acts or conditions without delay, and assigning job tasks to workers according to customer needs, current stock levels, and workers' expertise.
In particular, you will:
- Operate and safely maintain the plant for pumping or repackaging of gases into cylinders, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies. Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly plant appearance.
- Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements. Adjust work procedures to meet schedules.
- Implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. Modify working conditions and equipment use to increase efficiency.
- Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed. Conduct and document safety training regularly. Enforce safety regulations.
- Investigate and report all injuries and accidents within 24 hours.
- Analyze and resolve work-related problems. Handle personnel actions like promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures. Address associate issues and grievances effectively.
- Manage and lead subordinate supervisors. Motivate workers to achieve goals. Provide coaching and corrective actions to improve performance or facilitate releases if necessary.
- Train new workers and cross-train associates to ensure continuous production during shortages.
- Maintain time and production records; approve overtime when necessary, keeping it within acceptable levels.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Are you a MATCH?
- High School Diploma or GED. At least five (5) years of industry experience, including a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory/leadership role. Prior experience with compressed/packaged gases is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical skills; ability to leverage metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and handle various situations.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Attention to detail in documentation and compliance.
- Dedication to product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Physical requirements include remaining stationary for extended periods, traversing manufacturing and office locations, and occasionally moving up to 60 pounds with equipment assistance.
- Work environment includes indoor and outdoor conditions, loud noises, and odors, with exposure to mechanical parts and electrical hazards.
