Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to drive operational excellence in a food production environment. You will lead a manufacturing team, overseeing production, packaging, sanitation, maintenance, warehousing and quality assurance from 8 AM to 4 PM.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of managerial experience in food production, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.
  • Must have experience in food production environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end plant operations including production, packaging, sanitation, maintenance, warehousing and quality assurance.
  • Manage production schedules with high SKU counts, line changes, and seasonal builds.
  • Align daily execution with S&OP commitments, forecasts, service levels and cost targets.
  • Drive Lean initiatives to improve OEE, throughput and flow in a high-mix environment.
  • Own plant P&L including labor, yield, waste and overhead management.
  • Mentor and develop a cross-functional leadership team.

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to drive operational excellence, champion food safety, and lead our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will combine technical food-manufacturing expertise with strong people leadership to drive results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale. **MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN FOOD PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT**

salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end plant operations, including production, packaging, sanitation, maintenance, warehousing, and quality assurance.
  • Manage production schedules featuring high SKU counts, frequent line changeovers, custom packaging runs, and seasonal builds.
  • Align daily execution with S&OP commitments, demand forecasts, service levels, and cost targets.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), throughput, and flow in a high-mix environment.
  • Own plant P&L performance, managing labor, yield, waste, and overhead expenses.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop a cross-functional leadership team (managers, supervisors, frontline staff).
