What will you do?

Summary: The Plant Manager is responsible for executing strategies and delivering objectives in safety, customer satisfaction, team motivation/morale, cost control, operations, and transportation, aligning with our purpose, strategic direction, and values. This is achieved through leading a cross-functional team including Production Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisors/Technicians, Logistics Supervisors, and HRBP.

Core Functions:

  1. Develop safety awareness and apply safety, ergonomic, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance and incident analysis.
  2. Foster a site culture aligned with our purpose and values, monitoring, coaching, and mentoring the team.
  3. Drive urgency towards goals with measurable, communicated, and monitored objectives.
  4. Set and communicate area goals aligned with site and corporate objectives, creating clear action plans.
  5. Understand market, customer, product, and service knowledge; translate into strategy for profitable growth.
  6. Manage financial performance, including budgets, KPIs, and capital requests, to meet financial targets.
  7. Apply the “Right. On Time. Every Time.” mindset to customer relationships, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  8. Achieve operational excellence in 5S, inventory, asset utilization, labor efficiency, and waste reduction, coaching others accordingly.
  9. Control costs related to overtime, scrap, lost time, etc.
  10. Ensure proper staffing, recruitment, and HR collaboration.
  11. Implement open book management and focus on employee retention, development, and succession planning.
  12. Support community engagement through the Giving Back program.
  13. Monitor capacity, constraints, and forecasts for growth and production planning.
  14. Ensure compliance with standards and internal audits.
  15. Lead, develop, and provide feedback to the team, recognizing performance and coaching for improvement.
  16. Mentor high-potential employees and promote team building.
  17. Foster positive relationships across divisions and corporate teams.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in manufacturing, leading teams.
  • Experience with P&L management, strategic planning, and customer interactions.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Primarily office work with occasional lifting up to 35 lbs, working around machinery, and in loud environments. Extensive reading, verbal communication, and physical mobility are required. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.

Travel: Up to 10% annually.
