GENERAL PURPOSE

Under the direction of the General Manager or Operation Manager, this position is responsible for all aspects of the Production department, plant safety, and maintaining an outstanding workforce.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for producing reports for Weekly Operating Report, Key Indicators, Payroll and Human Resources
• Planning, directing, and coordinating services in compliance with company goals and objectives.
• Daily/Weekly/monthly workforce forecasting to meet budgetary/volume/customer needs
• Establishing and controlling conditions of production/service to satisfy customer and quality and production specifications.
• Directing the shift managers in the provision and execution of operating strategies and plans.
• Organizing and directing workflow for satisfying production/service requirements in a cost-efficient manner.
• Developing and motivating cost-effective alternatives and improvements to the production process.
• Maintaining employee safety and morale by creating safe working and efficient working environments
• Maximizing the efficiency of production lines and ensuring effective employment utilization
• Presenting data and solutions to customers, both internal and external.
• Ensure processing capabilities meet or exceed all industry and customer requirements for cost, quality, and responsiveness as the company grows.
• Implement continuous improvement practices for year-over-year productivity gains.
• Set goals and objectives for direct reports to meet company objectives.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Management or equivalent; minimum 5 years management experience, preferably in laundry operations or large-scale plants.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to motivate, influence, and train staff.
• Effective communication skills in verbal and written formats.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
