Randall Offsite Construction (ROC) is seeking a top-tier Precast Plant Manager to lead our Precast Manufacturing Plant at our Apopka, Florida headquarters. We are excited about this role and aim to select the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager and the VP/COO, the Precast Plant Manager is responsible for the entire operations of the precast manufacturing plant. This includes managing and coordinating daily activities to ensure high performance and production under safe conditions. Responsibilities also include ensuring adherence to company policies, onboarding new hires, and providing training and educational materials to staff.

Essential Functions

  • Operate a safe manufacturing facility.
  • Organize daily and weekly workflows based on production schedules and project demands.
  • Ensure production teams are well-informed and equipped to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Support QC staff in understanding and conducting pre- and post-pour inspections.
  • Support Safety staff to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Monitor overtime hours and labor costs to optimize costs of goods sold.
  • Manage production teams to complete manufacturing on time, within budget, and to specifications.
  • Direct logistics and shipping personnel, allocating load-out resources accordingly.
  • Require 8+ years of plant/production experience in Precast, Prestress, Tilt, or Post Tensioning Concrete.
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Basic understanding of P&L statements.
  • Ability to develop and use Key Performance Indicators.
  • Knowledge of Concrete Forming.
  • Previous supervision experience in the concrete manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Familiarity with PCI, NPCA, and ACI Standards.
  • NPCA, PCI, PCSA, ACI, and FDOT Certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to maximize resources efficiently.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting project shop drawings and element drawings.
  • Ability to communicate clear instructions to leadmen.
  • Strong leadership skills with patience to mentor the next generation of skilled precast tradespeople.
  • Technical knowledge to utilize Microsoft 365 applications effectively.
  • Self-educating mindset is desired.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physical activities such as bending, stretching, crouching, and climbing ladders while carrying tools or materials. Ability to respond quickly to sounds, navigate uneven terrain, and work in extreme weather conditions while wearing personal protective equipment is essential.
