Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Plant Manager in Kansas to direct and coordinate operations across a multi-plant facility. You will manage priorities, drive productivity and ensure cost-effective manufacturing, partnering with managers and staff to meet KPIs.

You will oversee budgeting, CI initiatives, recruitment, performance reviews, and salary planning, while upholding HR policies and labor contracts where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate overall plant operations and priorities.
• Provide work direction to management and employees within standard work rules and HR policies.
• Be accountable for achieving the plant's key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support the Continuous Improvement (CI) initiative to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Manage the overall operating budget including capital and expense projects.
• Direct personnel activities of the department, including recruitment, hiring, performance evaluations, and salary adjustments.

General Purpose

Manage the overall operating budget including capital and expense projects.
