Job summary

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking an experienced Plant Manager for Tier 1 automotive manufacturers across Southeast Michigan. You will lead a high-volume JIT operation, shape strategy on the production floor, and drive Lean, CI, and Six Sigma initiatives while managing both salaried and hourly teams.

• Senior Operations leadership experience in plant management.
• Experience in high-volume JIT automotive manufacturing.

• Experience managing plant financial performance, budgets and metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline preferred.

Successful candidates will typically have:

• Plant Manager, General Manager, or senior Operations leadership experience
• High-volume Just-in-Time (JIT) automotive manufacturing experience
• Experience leading both salaried and hourly manufacturing teams
• Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Experience managing plant financial performance, operating budgets, and key operational metrics
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related discipline preferred
