Qualifications

• Oversee WIP and inventory control systems.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and report findings to LPC officers.

The Plant Manager performs cross-platform management to guide daily operations for Lewisburg Patterson Company as well as long term company strategies. Assures that the plant's production objectives are achieved at the lowest cost consistent with quality requirements while maintaining compliance to Federal, State, and Local Safety and Environmental regulations and laws. This team member is self-motivated and emulates the core values of the company. The Plant Manager exhibits strong leadership skills through clear direction, proactive thinking and a high sense of accountability. The position is dynamic so candidate performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by LPC management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and enforce companywide safety and environmental regulations.
• Provide production reporting to senior management for all production departments.
• Manage and develop supervisors including but not exclusive to all production related departments.
• Monitors, reports and improve production performance for productivity percentages, overtime, waste, on time delivery while maintaining budgetary goals.
• Create, retain and sustain documentation for OEM maintenance schedules (compliance and training).
• Ensure supervisors are completing daily checklists for safe operating procedures for employees (lock out/tag out, guards, sensors, etc.).
• Develop, communicate, implement, sustain and continually improve programs/practices to extend primary and ancillary equipment life cycles.
• Perform or direct assessments of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks including but not limited to frequency, procedures (disassembly/assembly/verification), required equipment, parts, etc.
• Perform or direct the development and maintaining of WIP parts and tiered inventory and storage system.
• Perform periodic risk assessments and report recommendations and action plans to LPC officers and support staff.
• Assist quality assurance staff with equipment calibration and compliance.
• Conduct employee evaluations for direct reports.
• Evaluate and facilitate continual education for employees with regards to: HVAC, Electrical, OEM training, OSHA certification programs, other as identified
• Possess an extensive knowledge of LPC procedures and processes. Enforce those procedures.
• Assist with recruitment, retention and dismissal of team members.
• Perform an industrial environmental performance measurement and develop, implement and sustain a comprehensive EH&S program.
• Oversee LPC housekeeping and organization.
• Employee must study, understand, and be able to disseminate the data contained within the LPC Environmental Statement, educate LPC employees regarding those regulations, and update/audit the LPC Environmental Statement as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• applicable 29 CFR standards compliance for LPC through training and processes (example 1910.1030).

JOB REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFICATIONS

Thorough knowledge of good manufacturing principles and concepts, budget development, EH&S practices and strong communication skills. Must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with integrity, equality and consistency. Must have the ability to delegate responsibility and work through the key managers in production, production control, cost accounting, maintenance, and other related operations to achieve the desired objectives set forth in the corporate business plan. Ability to read and comprehend documents, manuals, memos and technical white papers.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma, eight to ten years of related experience with consistent career advancement; or combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute percentages; read a tape measure.
