Job summary

Martin Marietta in Georgia is seeking a Plant Manager to direct aggregate operations with responsibility for safety, environmental compliance and quality production, while ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.

You will lead a tenured, technically skilled team of hourly workers and foremen, own the site budget and P&L, drive production targets, oversee planning and maintenance, and champion continuous process improvements within a safe, compliant operation.

Qualifications

The Plant Manager will direct and manage the aggregate operations for a facility with overall responsibilities for safety, environmental, maintenance, quality, and other production-related activities. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manages an aggregates plant/site
• Typically manages foremen and/or lead production employees with multiple teams of hourly production workers
• Ensures annual production and profitability targets are reached
• Has responsibility for the plant/site’s profit and loss
• Develops and manages the budget for own site
• Ensures safety and health policies are followed
• Complies with environmental programs, guidelines and policies
• Complies with company, local, state and federal rules and regulations
