Plant Manager

Our manufacturing client is seeking a Plant Manager to join their greater Chicago area team.On site; local candidates only.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for all plant operations management and leadership. This includes taking ownership of plant P&L, supporting processes and identifying improvements, and ensuring plant safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Plant Manager

• Managing performance and development of direct reports
• Managing plan budget development and implementation
• Collaborating with leadership on quality and production standards development
• Coordinating production planning, procurement, safety, and maintenance activities
• Completing production review and analysis
• Maintaining regular communications with various stakeholders and departments
• Overseeing production scheduling

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Business Management major preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years manufacturing experience in positions of increasing responsibility including five (5) plus years in a leadership position

Preferred Requirements

• Proven company turnaround experience

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
