Job summary

RGBSI in Michigan seeks a senior manufacturing Operations Leader to oversee Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Operations within the business unit. You will drive KPI attainment, 5S excellence, and OEE targets while ensuring on-time, quality deliveries to customers and adherence to budget.

The role emphasizes industrialization of new products, continuous improvement, safety culture, and staffing planning to meet demand.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing-related experience with hands-on operational knowledge.
• Experience in Automotive Industry.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations in tooling, stamping, and/or welded assembly.
• Experience in organizations with strong Safety Culture; Hygiene & Safety mindset.
• Customer satisfaction focus; proactive problem solving; continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead all industrial operations, overseeing Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Operations.
• Drive KPI attainment to budgeted levels and ensure 5S excellence across the site.
• Achieve OEE targets and ensure on-time, quality deliveries to customers.
• Industrialize new products with cost, time, and process capability in collaboration with Project Manager.
• Review schedules to meet customer requirements and forecast targets; determine staffing needs.
• Resolve production or processing problems with technical and administrative teams; implement improvements.
• Define performance expectations and goals for subordinates; enforce Health, Safety and Environment plans.

Job description

• Main responsible for all industrial operations, meaning leadership of Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Operations of business unit
• Responsible to reach, in industrial operations, the KPI ́s defined on budget
• Assure 5S good performance in all industrial area
• Assure the O.E.E. (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets defined
• Assure client satisfaction on part delivery, in terms of quality and quantity and deadlines defined
• Industrialization of new products assuring cost, time and process capability together with Project Manager
• Check on a daily basis the costumers sales input in order to determine direct and indirect manpower requirements to assure production targets efficiency
• Reviews weekly production schedules to meet customer requirements and internal Budget/forecast targets
• Reviews processing schedules and production orders to determine staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments
• Reviews operations and confers with technical and/or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
• Assigns tasks for develop plans for efficient management of materials, machines, and associates, according to policies, procedures, norms, legal regulations
• Continuously looking for improvements in safety, quality and productivity.
• Assigns tasks for implementing continuous improvements and monitors them based on safety, cost of quality and productivity
• Assure the implementation of HR Plan Director and Health, Safety and Environment Director Plan in all industrial operations;
• Defines performance expectations and goals for subordinates and sector areas;

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 + yrs. of manufacturing related experience with hands on operational knowledge
• Commercial customer experience is a plus
• Experience in Automotive Industry
• Thorough and solid understanding and hands on experience of manufacturing operations in tooling, stamping, and/or welded assembly environment
• Experience working in an organization that has a well-implemented \"Safety Culture” is a plus. Strong Hygiene & Safety mindset
• Strong focus in customer satisfaction, proactive attitude in problem solving and continuous improvement process
