Job Title: Plant Manager
Location: Onsite - Atlanta Office
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the production plant, ensuring schedules and quality standards are met.
- Monitor and optimize production processes for efficiency and quality.
- Ensure resource availability, including raw materials, equipment, and labor.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with QA and Regulatory teams for audits and inspections.
- Maintain industry regulation knowledge and implement necessary changes.
- Implement quality control systems to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with QA to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Promote safety culture through protocols, audits, and OSHA compliance.
- Manage environmental programs for compliance and sustainability.
- Lead waste, emissions, and energy reduction initiatives.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team.
- Conduct performance reviews and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Manage the plant’s budget and identify cost-saving initiatives.
- Report operational and financial metrics to senior management.
- Coordinate with supply chain for procurement and inventory management.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, upgrades, and plant upgrades.
- Ensure facility compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and stay informed on industry trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Business Management, or related field.
- 7-10 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
- Deep knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
