MAC Trailer Enterprises, Inc. seeks a Plant Manager to oversee all activities on the production floor, lead supervisors and staff, and ensure safe, on-time manufacturing of dump, flatbed and transfer trailers.

The role emphasizes coordinating efforts across departments to maintain quality and productivity. The position requires strong leadership, a focus on safety, and the ability to drive process improvements in Alliance, Ohio.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to lead and develop a diverse production team.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all in-plant activities following company procedures.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
• Coordinate production with procurement, maintenance, and quality control for optimum output.
• Develop and implement operating methods to improve production and quality.
• Revise production schedules due to staffing or equipment changes.
• Consult with engineering about machine modifications to improve production and quality.
• Communicate production issues to relevant departments.
• Provide production reports and data to management.
• Recommend budgets to management.
• Engage and retain production staff across all levels.
• Enforce safety rules and plant-specific instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates all in plant activity following principles, and procedures established by company.
• Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of employee resources, machines, and equipment.
• Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
• Revises production schedules and priorities as result of staffing, procurement or equipment failure.
• Consults with manufacturing engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment to improve production, and quality of products.
• Communicate production issues to appropriate departments.
• Provides reports and data of production to management as requested.
• Recommend budgets to management.
• Regularly converse with all production employees to promote engagement and retention. Applies to all production mgmt. levels.
• Know, observe and enforce all general safety rules and such special instructions that are designated for their plant.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage supervisors and staff in Plant Operations.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferred.
• Minimum 5 years related experience and/or training.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including being physically capable of maneuvering throughout, work area, product, and equipment.
