Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service and maintain plant equipment and facilities across the assigned area. You will perform mechanical tasks, welding, and milling duties to ensure reliable operation and safety compliance.

The role requires reading and interpreting manuals, following plant standards, and collaborating with supervisors, welders, and other maintenance staff. The position is on-site with typical safety and physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior mechanical and welding experience, or appropriate training, is required.
• Bi-lingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on plant equipment and facilities.
• Collect data for preventative and predictive maintenance projects.
• Perform millwright tasks: bearing replacement, alignment, and inspection of power transmission.
