Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. in Mount Vernon, Indiana, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to service and maintain processing equipment at our soybean plant. You will perform inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

This role requires adherence to OSHA safety standards, blueprint reading, and the ability to perform skilled maintenance including basic fabrication. A steady, team-focused environment with opportunities for growth awaits you.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot equipment.
• Willingness to work in varying conditions and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Safety Program and Quality Program and attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer recommendations and company policies.
• Perform installations and needed repairs to maintain safe/efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment to prevent downtime and rebuild spare parts as needed.
• Maintain inventory and ensure parts and supplies are available.
• Complete documentation timely (checklists, PM records, repair notes).
• Be on-call for weekends, nights and holidays for emergencies.
