Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance B at the Billings, Montana plant. The role focuses on keeping plant equipment and systems running smoothly, supporting the plant's safety program, and adhering to regulatory standards.

You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and assist with turnarounds, with on-call and overtime availability as required. The ideal candidate will have solid mechanical/technical knowledge, basic math and chemistry understanding, and basic computer

Qualifications

• Good mechanical/technical knowledge required.
• Must be able to read and understand technical materials.
• Basic mathematical/analytical skills needed.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry recommended.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Computer literacy required.
• Ability to discuss equipment issues with vendors to facilitate repairs.
• Organized and thorough, able to manage parts storage areas.
• Willingness to work overtime and be available for short-notice call-outs.

Responsabilités

• Conduct inspections and maintain documentation as part of the plant's maintenance program.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and repair of plant equipment and instrumentation.
• Maintain necessary maintenance supplies.
• Handle waste per relevant regulations and train guidance.
• Report irregularities to management for corrective actions.
• Participate in the plant safety program and safety inspections.
• Inspect vessels and equipment to prevent failures and damages.
• Assist in turnaround maintenance, lockout/tag out, and confined space entries.
• Support Emergency Response Plan implementation and incident mitigation.
• Assist with start-up maintenance activities and equipment file creation.
• Support maintenance shop setup and parts procurement.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer recommendations and supervisor guidance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and schedule contractor assistance when needed.
• Maintain a work order system to prioritize repairs.
• Assist with snow/ice removal using plant equipment.
• Set safety and work-ethic standards for maintenance team.
• Assist rebuilding pumps and planning turnaround activities.
• Monitor contract personnel safety practices.
