Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment while upholding safety and Tyson policies. This role focuses on keeping equipment in good working condition and supporting production during shifts.

The successful candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, handle mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and ensure a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs
• Perform preventing maintenance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure
• Support production in addressing equipment problems during shift
• Handle all mechanical problems that may arise
• Ensure work area is clean at all time
• Record keeping and attention to detail
